Baylis Medical is closely monitoring and responding to the COVID-19 crisis occurring around the world. We have put measures in place to continue supporting physicians and their patients, while ensuring the health and safety of our employees. These include:
- Supporting patient procedures, while respecting restrictions put in place by hospitals. Baylis Medical is committed to supporting physicians if they need to perform clinical cases during this challenging time. If requested and approved by hospitals, we continue to support physicians through patient procedures.
- Establishing internal procedures to protect our employees, while continuing to manufacture devices required for patient care. These include work-from-home directives for office staff and putting in place social distancing systems within our manufacturing areas.
- Postponing or cancelling our Medical Education events and participation in conferences, in support of travel restrictions and social distancing guidelines. We will continue to engage in these events once our communities have recovered.
Baylis Medical is also working closely with local community partners to identify ways in which we can help stop the spread of COVID-19, and support the treatment of patients impacted by the virus.
We are committed to doing our part to flatten the curve and help our communities recover from this unprecedented challenge. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide any updates as needed.
