Part 1- Foundations of Radiation Reduction

Reduce your reliance on fluoroscopy and advance your procedural skillset to enable zero or near-zero fluoroscopy procedures with instruction from expert faculty during part one of this three-part series. Hear from the experts on considerations for starting a fluoroless ablation program, challenges to reducing reliance on fluoroscopy, and techniques to enable fluoro reduction and elimination in the EP lab.

Learning objectives:
• Understand the motivations behind fluoroscopy reduction and elimination from the EP lab
• Identify hurdles to performing fluoroless procedures and review techniques to help minimize and eliminate fluoroscopy
• Learn how to leverage intracardiac echo and electroanatomical mapping to reduce reliance on fluoroscopy

  • 6:00 pm  –  6:15 pm  Considerations for minimizing or eliminating radiation from the EP Lab – Dr. Rodney Horton
  • 6:15 pm    6:45 pm Overview of critical skills to reduce reliance on fluoroscopy – Dr. Carola Gianni and Dr. Mansour Razminia
