Get to know Anne Murphy, our Customer Success Manager!

Question: When did you join Baylis?
Answer: I joined Baylis October 2018.

Q: Where did you work and what was your role prior to joining Baylis?
A: Before I joined Baylis, I worked as a senior manager of sales operations, managing three separate teams for a company that provided alternative financial solutions.

I enjoyed my role there, but decided it was time for a new challenge and that’s what lead me to Baylis.

Q: What is your day-to-day role at Baylis?
A: My days vary depending on the project that I’m working on and the meetings I have with my team. We collaborate with all the teams at Baylis, but we work a lot with Sales and Supply Chain. My main focus every day is to ensure that me and my team are providing the best customer service experience and are helping improve processes for both internal and external customers.

As a people person, I truly enjoy the time I spend collaborating and working with my team and colleagues.

Q: What is it about Baylis and its mandate that motivates you to come to work every day?
A: I draw a lot of inspiration from our mission statement. I love coming to work every day knowing that I’m helping make a difference and that all the work we do contributes to improving patients’ lives. Some days will be significantly busier than others, but when we look at the number of orders we process, we see that as the number of patients we’ve been able to help. It makes our work very worthwhile.

I consider myself lucky to work with such an amazing team. Everyone has been so helpful in helping me settle into my new role. It’s difficult to have a bad day when the people who surround you at work are so positive.

Q: What do you do in your spare time?
A: My spare time is spent with my family. I have two young children who keep me on my toes and I love seeing them grow a little more every day. They never cease to amaze me. When I’m not chasing my kids around, you can find me searching for inspiration on Pinterest and creating themed birthday parties for my kids. I also enjoy spending time with my husband when we can find someone to babysit. It’s nice to be able to carve out some time for ourselves once in a while.
